Love is something we all experience, but we don’t always find the right words to describe it.

Across the world, people express love in thousands of different ways, through different languages, cultures and traditions.

But love is about so much more than words.

It’s found in kindness, friendship, forgiveness, passion and those little moments when someone makes us feel truly loved.

What Is Love? is a poem about the things that connect us, no matter where we come from or what language we speak.

Because love needs no translation. ❤️

What Is Love?

Love has many names.

It is spoken

in thousands of languages—

I love you.

Je t’aime.

Ti amo.

Main tumse pyaar karta hoon.

Main tumse pyaar karti hoon.

Different words.

Different voices.

Different parts

of the world.

Yet love needs

no translation.

We recognise it

in kindness.

In friendship.

In desire.

In forgiveness.

In the hand

that reaches for ours.

In the person

who brings peace

to the chaos within us.

Because love is not only

what we say.

It is the truth

behind the words.
