Two golden sunflowers turning towards each other beneath a moonlit, starry sky, symbolising love, friendship and hope in the darkness.

Sunflowers At Night 🌙

Sunflowers spend their days following the sun, but I’ve always loved the thought of what happens when darkness falls.

Sometimes, when life gets difficult, we find warmth, comfort and hope in each other.

“Sunflowers at Night” is a poem about love, friendship and being there for one another.

Because sometimes, we all need someone to help us find a little light in the darkness.

Sunflowers at Night

Beneath the summer sun,

sunflowers rise—

fed by rain,

warmed by light,

and held by love.

All day,

they stretch towards the sky,

following the sun

wherever it may lead.

But when evening falls

and darkness fills the space

where sunlight used to be,

two sunflowers

turn gently

towards each other—

sharing their warmth,

holding onto hope,

and becoming

each other’s light.
