Stormy ocean waves beneath lightning-filled skies, symbolising inner turmoil and emotional struggle in the poem Raging Within.

Raging Within

Sometimes everything around you can look fine.

You can be loved.

You can be grateful.

You can recognise the good things in your life.

And still feel a storm raging inside you.

I wrote Raging Within about that feeling — when your inner world is smashing and crashing even though nobody else can see it.

Sometimes the hardest battles are the ones happening quietly beneath the surface.

Raging Within

Raging waves

within my heart,

smashing,

crashing,

breaking,

left alone

in the dark.
